Since its formation in 1995, ASA Architecture Ltd has developed effective design solutions through close collaboration with clients, the appropriate and effective use of professional consultants and empathy for the environmental requirements of a project. Our portfolio covers a wide range of projects for private clients, developers, universities, local health authorities and housing associations across a broad range of building types.
The practice is fully integrated in the use of CAD systems. This allows for the production of design drawings and data that can be used for design/financial control as well as presentations, either to show simple design aspects or images for more complex 3D visualisation.
The practice is based in a converted barn, providing a light and modern open plan studio with integrated computer work stations, and ancillary private office and meeting room facilities. Clients are welcome to visit the office.
To focus, and remain focused on the client's requirements, develop the project brief and grasp the issues that each project presents. Every project we undertake is viewed as unique, and our objective is to provide a practical and creative solution to the client’s needs.
Our designs combine forms, materials and technologies, both traditional and new. Project are monitored through the design process, from the feasibility stage through to the project completion. A senior architect guides all projects, maintaining communication between the client and our design team, and implementing the necessary skills to ensure its successful delivery.
The practice is headed by Anthony Shores, a qualified architect registered with ARB, and a member of The Royal Institute of British Architects.
Versatility is the key to the office structure. The office personnel are selected for their design and technical skills honed to individual projects, and consists of contract architects, architectural technicians and architectural assistants. This approach allows for a more flexible office, and teams can be selected to suit a project, thus enabling delivery of more efficient, specialist services.
ASA Architecture Ltd also works in close collaboration with qualified and experienced consultants who provide additional support services; mainly specialist planning advice and planning supervision under CDM regulations.
